Jay Z Disrespects Colin Kaepernick's Movement For Self Gain

On Wednesday, Jay Z announced his partnership with the NFL during a press conference which was strategically on the 3 year anniversary when Colin Kaepernick first kneeled during an NFL game.

It was on that day three years ago Colin Kaepernick brought awareness to the ongoing problem of police brutality and the “Fight For Liberation” but now Jay Z is disrespecting Kaepernick to make money moves and sellout. Jay Z Disrespects Colin Kaepernick's Movement For Self Gain

CelebNMusic247.com may be coming off harsh but we are calling it for what it is and if you don’t see that Jay-Z teaming with the NFL is not only a money move for Roc Nation Sports and well as a SLAP in Kaepernick’s face then your drinking too much lean.

What makes it worse is the photo of Jay Z sitting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. You know damn well, that man where a red hat and probably has Trump on speed dial.

And before we go further, we have to point Jay Z and Kanye West should get along again since they both sold themselves as the “New Slaves” as Ye put it on his Yeezus album. They no longer “N— in Paris” because Jay and Kanye just devalued themselves by allowing the white man to hold the string and they puppet around to lure in the black community.

What has really rubbed everyone wrong is when Jay Z said:

I think we’ve moved past kneeling. I think it’s time to go into actionable items.

That right there was the most under-handed and disrespectful slap in Colin Kaepernick’s face. The sad part is that it comes off spiteful since Kaep attorney called him out for NEVER calling Colin as he claimed in the press conference.

Jay tried to recover his backhanded compliment but failed again saying:

I don’t want people to stop protesting at all. Kneeling is a form of protest. I support protests across the board. We need to bring light to the issue and I think everyone knows what the issue is. We’re done with that.

The bottom line is that Jay Z NEVER kneeled, and has NEVER protested anything like a true activist. He may have rapped about issues and problems but all his move have been strategized throughout his career for self-gain. He’s a true capitalist, but selling out on this level is low. It’s just dirty.

Hov went on to say:

We forget that Colin’s whole thing was to bring attention to social injustice. In that case, this is a success. This is the next phase. There [are] two parts of protesting. You go outside and you protest, and then the company or the individual says, ‘I hear you. What do we do next?’

This would have been ok if Colin Kaepernick was truly a part of the conversation, not talked about. Colin should have been there and in some way part of the deal holding the cards with Jay Z, but how he did this. It shows how Jay moves to make paper and step on whoever he needs to get there.

It the music industry and sports industry, so cutthroat is the game and many who read blogs and news have no real clue on how things go down behind the curtain. As they say, the show must go on, but this is what Dame Dash and Kanye West said about Jay. He uses you until he doesn’t need you.

He supported Kaepernick for a long time, but the whole time he was probably trying to figure out a way to get involved and make money for himself and ride Kaepernick’s coattails to get there. And guess what he did it. It’s happening!

This is why Kaepernick and Eric Reid have BLASTED Jay Z on Thursday.
