Ja Rule Gets Crickets at Bucks 90s Night Halftime Show

Wow, this had to suck, Ja Rule just got the memo that he’s completely irrelevant at the Bucks 90s night halftime show.

Ja Rule tried to make a joke about it being 90s night, but they had a 2000 artist performing. The crowd was silent. Continue on an watch the look on his face. #SMH…

CelebNMusic247.com reports that Ja Rule learned real quickly that no one cared about him performing during the halftime at the

Ja Rule was the unexpected halftime headliner for a ’90s celebration. The rapper even admitted to the halftime crowd that he was perplexed that they gave them a pass since his debut, “Venni Vetti Vicci,” came out in 1999. His debut album hit in 2000.

Anyhow, things got off to a sketchy start for Ja Rule. He awkwardly waited for his DJ to get the concert started. Eventually, the music began, but the rapper struggled to keep up the first song’s rhythm, stumbling through his song while random airhorn blasts blocked his voice out completely.

We feel for Ja Rule because this had to be hard. He holla’d out “Are We Ready” and all he got was crickets. The room was silent, but Ja kept it professional and acted like it didn’t bother him. He pressed on and performed for the unenthusiastic crowd.

Things got worse when Milwalkie Bucks “Giannis Antetokounmpo came out early to get up shots during Ja Rule’s halftime show ?”

OMG, we are feeling for Ja right about now. Maybe Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t realize that Ja Rule was performing or he didn’t care. But this was clearly one of the saddest moments in hip hop for the former Murda Inc rapper.

Jeffrey Bruce Atkins best know as 42-year-old rapper Ja Rule took to social media unbothered:

Thanks for the love Milwaukee!!! Great win my halftime performance streak continues… ?

That is how you do it. Good job Ja.
