Over the weekend, rapper J. Cole took a moment during his sold-out Dreamville Festival to honor the late Nipsey Hussle
The hip hop community is still in mourning following the untimely death of West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle who was gunned down by Eric Holder.

Before J. Cole did his Tribute to Nipsey, he posted these words on social media:
“Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside while still alive.” Rest in Peace Nipsey, you’ve left the blueprint behind for those after you!
Nipsey Hussle was not only a rapper, but he was also a movement, a family man trying to better his community. His music touched many, his struggle was real and many to this day in the industry can relate that he was a humble man just doing the right thing.

Like many rappers, J. Cole took a moment from his sold-out Dreamville Festival to honor the late Nipsey Hussle. The North Carolina grown MC was in Raleigh Saturday night where he packed out Dix Park with no less than 40,000 people who flocked to his inaugural music festival.
Cole took some time for Nipsey and performed his hit, “Love Yourz,” which he dedicated to Nip.

It was a touching tribute, with video footage of the slain L.A. rapper playing on a giant monitor behind JC the whole time.
Big Sean was also performing at the Dreamville Festival, he too took a moment to tribute Nipsey.
