‘It Takes Two‘ Hitmaker DJ E-Z Rock Dead at 46
Harlem rapper Rodney Bryce aka DJ E-Z Rock and friend to Rob Base died on Sunday. He was 46.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that DJ E-Z Rock’s friend and hip hop/pop veteran musician’s collaborator Rob Base has confirmed E-Z Rock’s death but no further information has been released. Rob Base and E-Z Rock best known for their 1988 iconic hit “It Takes Two,” which has been named to the 50 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs of All Time, according to Rolling Stone magazine.
The single “It Takes Two,” propelled them to fame. Since then the song has been sampled several times by rap stars like Snoop Dogg, the sound tracked in the 2004 Grand Theft Auto video game and featured in Sandra Bullock‘s 2009 comedy “The Proposal.”
DJ E-Z Rock friend and fellow peers in music posted their condolences online via social media. Check it! DJ Scratch posted a late-Eighties picture of the duo on his Instagram:
