(CelebNMusic247-News) Is The Love & Hip Hop Genre Fading
Oh No…could love and hip hop be on the way out?
It seems that Love and Hip Hop New York is losing steam due to sheer boredom, but this last episode was filled with drama!
However, the ratings don’t lie and seems fans are tuning out of this season, before its even over!!!
Here’s the drop:
Love and Hip Hop reunion rumors have been spreading like wildfire, and with the speculation that breakups, pregnancies, and even fight rumors will be confirmed at the reunion show; one would think all the hype for the reunion would translate into ratings.
In fact, the rumor mill says that is exactly what Mona Scott Young was hoping the buzz would do, and once Joe Budden and Consequence confirmed that they did indeed fight (Consequence even “exposed” Joe Budden’s alleged boyfriend); Mona thought it would help the ratings that were already on the decline. But it turns out that despite the excitement people may have for the upcoming reunion, it seems like most of them have already given up on the show.
According to the Nielsen ratings only 1.5 million viewers tuned into the last episode of Love and Hip Hop, down from it’s season premier high of 2.5 million.
Could Mona Scott Young’s reality genre finally be on the way out?
Is the current cast (Erica Mena, Rich Dollaz, Joe Budden, Mendeecees, Jen The Pen, Tahiry Jose, Consequence, Yandy Smith, Raqi Thunda)not strong enough for viewers interest?
