Gremlins Reboot Fast Tracked
It’s official, Gremlins is returning to the big screen thanks to Warner Bros who has put the rumored Gremlins reboot on the fast track!

Do you remember the rules when owning a Mogwai?
– NO bright light – Bright light hurts him, and sunlight can kill him.
– DON’T get him wet – If he gets wet, he pops out more mogwais.
– NEVER feed him after midnight no matter how much he begs – If fed after midnight, a mogwai will spin a cocoon and undergo metamorphosis, turning into a wicked, troublemaking Gremlin.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Warner Bors. is “moving quickly” on the remake of Joe Dante‘s classic black horror comedy, according to Ain’t It Cool.
Last week it was revealed by Richard Donner that he was making a sequel to his classic 80s kids adventure film The Goonies. Donner is hoping that the original cast from the kids adventure film will return for his next project.
In the 80s Steven Spielberg served as executive producer on both The Goonies, Gremlins and its 1990 sequel, Gremlins 2: The New Batch. Now that The Goonies is going into production it seems we will start seeing more remakes from 80s films.
Last year, it was announced that the Gremlins remake was getting a reboot with Dark Shadows writer Seth Grahame-Smith who claimed to be producing with David Katzenberg, son of DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg.
A director and schedule for the project is yet to be announced.
