Irv Gotti’s music will always be remembered. He was a huge part of hip hop in the 90s and early 2000s thanks to his many artists who brought so many hits. His biggest artist was Ja Rule, Ashanti, J-Lo and many others. It was their songs that will always stay with us for many years to come.

Murda Inc may not be around anymore, but its legacy in music will remain, and in the end for all artists that is the goal. To have a body of work that defines an era, a moment, and a part of time that become a definitive factor in hip hop music.

Irv succeeded that with his years and a producer, artist, music exec, and father.

RIP Irv “Gotti” Lorenso
