Lakeith Stanfield ended up catching a lot of flak for an Instagram video of himself rapping:

We know that the ‘Atlanta’ star meant nothing by his lyrics, many of his viewers unleashed a firestorm of backlash.

He continued to explain:
I apologize if it hurt anybody, sincerely. That wasn’t my intention to just be somebody that was out here just slinging arrows and hurting people, so I want them to know that I apologize that they had to feel sadness from that. So my sincerest apologies.
He clarified in an Instavideo that his freestyle was taken out of context and that was NOT his intention.
