(CelebNMusic247-News) Gabrielle Union Calls Off Engagement
Could this be true? Has the Being Mary Jane star Gabrielle Union put her foot down after all the baby mama drama with Dwayne Wade and his newborn?
After Gabrielle was not attached to Dwayne Wade’s arm like a piece of jewelry at he other night at The General in NYC for fellow Heat star Michael Beasley’s birthday. Rumors are suggesting there may be trouble brewing in paradise for these two newly engaged lovebirds.
Let us take in concideration that Union and Wade are busy professionals who can not attend every single star studded event together arm in arm, so this doesn’t necessarily mean trouble is brewing. So we are dubbing this a RUMOR! However, some rumors play out to be true, but its too soon to call this just yet.
Now we all know about Wade’s baby mama drama with Aja Metoyer, and that he now has a son named, Xavier Zachariah Wade, who was born November 10, 2013. And ALL of us also know Dwayne is claiming that he and Gabrielle were on a temporary break when the jump off got pregnant. We are ALSO aware that D-Wade told Union about the baby prior to their December engagement(Despite the Instagram and Twitter posts of Union and Wade hugged up in February 2013), but now it seems his fiancee is having second thoughts.
Union recently opened up to Glamour about her views of the “Do’s & Don’ts” of love and marriage and spoke on the break where Wade embarked on his baby making venture with Metoyer. Union told Glamour:
“When you’re debating whether to go backward or forward, you have to look at the original issue. [When Dwayne and I broke up briefly in 2013], it was because of distance and scheduling. I finished filming the show, then I flew to Vegas right away to start shooting Think Like a Man Too. I couldn’t take time off, and I missed some quality togetherness we desperately needed. Over the summer, I reassessed priorities. I’d always wanted an awesome career with back-to-back projects, but I realized I wasn’t willing to sacrifice my relationship for it. Moving forward, I decided my work schedule has to make sense for our family.”
Union’s statement seems to imply that she blames herself for being busy and away working for Wade’s indiscretion.
