When it comes to conspiracy theories Freddie Gibbs obviously knows something none us know. The rapper is weighing in pretty heavy on Capo aka Jim Jones playing a role in his non-fatal shooting in Brooklyn Monday.
We question Freddies theories about Jones being behind the shooting because he has been extremely busy with his clothing line Vampire Life and new drink Vamp soda, so Capo being behind the shooting of another rapper seems to be ridiculous. Plus there are more rappers out in Brooklyn who could have conspired. It seems Gibbs is just using the most popular name out there to gain some buzz.
Here is what Gibbs said about being targeted by an unknown gunman during his show at Rough Trade record store located in Williamsburg to Vlad:
While the rapper walked away from the incident with little to no injuries, two members of his entourage were shot but faced non-life threatening injuries.
Just weeks prior, Gibbs called Harlem rapper Jim Jones a wannabe gang member, prompting theories that Jones was apart of the shooting. Jones hasn’t responded to the rumors, but did send out an cryptic tweet about the incident.
Gibbs took to Twitter to assure his fans he was okay, but they had deeper questions about the gunman. When one fan asked Gibbs if he believed rumors of Jones’ role in the shooting, Gibbs gave a blunt response.
