Frank Ocean snags the Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Grammy Winner
While onstage, the Channel Orange maestro stood behind a podium, playing piano and singing “Forrest Gump,” while video projected on the front of the podium to make it look as if he were running the entire time. (Technology these days!)
The performance was a hipster play off of Tom Hanks‘ flick, Forrest Gump, which found him running across country.
Like the man said: Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re going to get. But sometimes we get a flawless album and a artist like Frank Ocean gets a Grammy.
Good for him!
