Frances Bean Cobain SLAMS Lana Del Rey

Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain Chastises Lana Del Rey for Romanticizing Death in a recent interview with U.K.’s Guardian romanticizing death!

Lana Del Rey made headlines recently when the U.K.‘s Guardian newspaper published an interview with her in which she was quoted as saying, “I wish I was dead already” and then compared her comment to the late Kurt Cobain.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned that news traveled to Kurt’s daughter, Frances Bean and on Sunday, June 22 she sounded off on social media letting Lana have it!

Frances took to Twitter to chastise the “Born to Die” singer for glorifying the idea of death:

“@LanaDelRey the death of young musicians isn’t something to romanticize.”

“I’ll never know my father because he died young & it becomes a desirable feat because ppl like u think it’s ‘cool.'”

Bean added:

“Well, it’s f—ing not.”

“Embrace life, because u only get one life. The ppl u mentioned wasted that life. Don’t be 1 of those ppl…ur too talented to waste it away.”

Last week, Del Rey’s apparent death wish came in a conversation about the heroes she and her boyfriend share, namely Amy Winehouse and Nirvana frontman Cobain, both of whom died before their time.

Then, Tim Jonze, pointed out the common link and then asked if Del Rey sees early death as glamorous, to which she reportedly replied:

“I don’t know. Ummm, yeah.”

Frances Bean took issue with those comments, but she maintains that she has no specific issue with Del Rey. She got called out by one of Lana’s fans, so Courtney Love‘s daughter checked them saying:

“I’m not attacking anyone. I have no animosity towards Lana, I was just trying to put things in perspective from personal experience.”

Del Rey has not yet responded to Frances Bean’s tweets, but she has tried to distance herself from the original Guardian interview.
