Floyd Mayweather Retiring From Boxing???

Could this be true? At the press conference to announce the fight with Maidana, Money Mayweather spoke on his aspirations after boxing.

The undefeated 46-0 boxing champ has only three more fights on his deal with CBS/Showtime, including his Sept. 13, 2014, bout with Marcos Maidana, and now Floyd Mayweather career is coming to a close.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned via RollingOut that Mayweather is looking beyond boxing and what’s the next step in his career when he hangs his champion belt.

Floyd spoke about different members of his team:

“[There are] so many different things on the table, but you know I have my team. I believe in building my team that’s around me and making them stronger and [teaching them] about being entrepreneurs.” 

Mayweather touched on Melissia Brim, the mother of his oldest daughter, Iyanna and who owns a boutique called Devanna Love.

“The mother of my oldest daughter — she has a store up and running. She’s going to get [other stores] up and running in different places.”

Mayweather continued to talk about The Money Team (TMT) and his lifelong friend from his hometown in Grand Rapids, MichiganBrazil. After a brief stint in jail, Brazil moved to Las Vegas to join Mayweather in business ventures. The clothing line is called Ricki Brazil, and the face of the line is none other than Shaniece Hairston, daughter of Evelyn Lozada of “Basketball Wives” fame.

“We got Ricki Brazil. He’s a close friend of mine, he has the women’s clothing line.”

Mayweather, referring to Doralie Medina, who is best known as Floyd’s personal massage therapist.

He adds:

“We have Bad Medina, she has the makeup line coming out.”

In regards to the head of his company Floyd closed with a simple statement:

“Of course Leonard [Ellerbe], he has Mayweather Promotions, so [I’m] just making my team stronger.”

 “We’re steady building everyone around us, helping them build their own empire. That’s what it’s about.”

Don’t start freaking out, Floyd is NOT retiring anytime soon, but he is looking beyond boxing and what is next for himself.
