Five Finger Death Punch a MUST SEE band at this years Aftershock Festival!

Five Finger Death Punch is undoubtedly one of the most relevant and successful rock bands globally, dominated 2013 with the releases THE WRONG SIDE OF HEAVEN AND THE RIGHTEOUS SIDE OF HELL ? VOLUME 1 and VOLUME 2.

Both volumes debuted on the U.S. Billboard album chart at #2 (more notably, within a four-month period) and in the top ten mainstream charts all across the globe. The two albums feature two #1 radio hit singles (“Lift Me Up” featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest and “Battle Born”) and have combined sales of over 600,000 units to date. The multi-million selling rock titans’ recent single, “The House Of The Rising Sun” is their 13th consecutive top ten hit at Active Rock Radio. Watch the video here: http://vevo.ly/pNJ7Cr. USA TODAY proclaimed VOLUME 2 elevates the group “…to the top of its game. Offering more than blind rage, though there’s certainly plenty, the songs live in the tension implied by the album’s title—aware of the implications of lashing out, ready to accept the consequences” (11/19/13). FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH–Ivan Moody (vocals), Zoltan Bathory (guitar), Jeremy Spencer (drums), Jason Hook (guitar) and Chris Kael (bass)—is gearing up for a North American fall co-headlining arena tour with Volbeat that kicks off next week (9/16) in Salt Lake City.

Five Finger Death Punch is using the video—written by the band and directed by Nick Peterson–to give back to veterans and those suffering from PTSD by increasing knowledge about the plight of veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and its larger repercussions for our country by way of affecting their mental and physical health, family life, assimilation back home after service and garnering quality job placement, among many other issues. 5FDP have partnered with a multitude of national and local veterans and PTSD help organizations, contact info for which runs at the end of the video and is also available at www.5fdp4vets.com. The band created this website to provide a destination with more info on veterans affected by PTSD, the issues they’re facing and also to host a video-call-to-action to their fans asking them to send in their fallen loved ones’ dog tags to create a memorial wall to commemorate them. The memorial will travel with the band across North America to be the backdrop of the show on their upcoming arena fall tour. Post-tour, the dog tag memorial wall will ultimately find a permanent home in a museum to honor the fallen heroes who gave their life while serving our country. In tandem with the video’s premiere, the group ignited a special crowd-funding campaign for a limited edition jersey created and designed by guitarist Zoltan Bathory entitled 5FDP4VETS “No One Gets Left Behind” on Indiegogo. The campaign’s goal of raising $50,000 was bested by double in less than two day’s time—exceeding $100,000. The campaign continues to run and the proceeds will benefit the organizations mentioned at the end of the music video. FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH also hosted a special screening of their new video “Wrong Side Of Heaven” at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, showing their appreciation for the military up-close-and-personal on 8/11.

The video amassed over 500,000 views in less than 48 hours of its premiere on VEVO, touching viewers everywhere with its poignant message.
