With the success of the younger versions of Magnito, Professor X, Mystic and more, Famke Janssen Bittersweet Over Jean Grey Recasting for X-Men: Apocolypse.

One of our favorite X-Men stars, Famke Janssen got the news about her character being recast and by the looks of her reaction she was surprised by the news. In fact Janssen seemed to have a bittersweet reaction.

As of now, Chloe Grace Moretz, Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld are reportedly testing to play the founding X-Men member. Here is what the Hemlock Grove actress had to say about her character being recast with a young version of her character in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Janssen told MTV, pinching her fingers together:

“I know all of them, of course. I love Elle Fanning, but I would see about this much resemblance.”

“Well, maybe with a red wig or whatever. Interesting.

“It is a little bitter sweet, but I’ve seen what they’ve done with the younger and older Magneto and Professor X… I think I’m in good company.”

20th Century Fox is believed to be recasting younger versions of Grey, Cyclops and Storm. Bryan Singer will direct the film, which will star Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Oscar Isaac.
