It seems X Factor and American Idol have one thing in common these days and that would be they SUCK!
Both of these competition shows started out so strong being about the contestants trying to make it as a pop star but now the music machine is making it about the artists and celebrities attached to the competition series.
And what makes it even worse is they’re going after artist to help them get more exposure and draw more fans to their new projects.
The latest artist to jump on the X Factor train is Kelly Rowland, who has a new studio album dropping very soon! Coincidental, NOT its all a new way to sell music to the masses for artists still trying to take it to the next level.
Lets be real, why doesn’t Simon Cowel go after execs or producers like Dr. Dre that will draw a real audience….The reason why these shows SUCK these days is the simple fact that they’re trying to use artists like Nicki Minaj, Diva’s Like Mariah Carey or Britney Spears. No disrespect to any of these ladies, but they have not mentored an artist and taken them by the hand and molded them into anything.
These women have had someone do that for them, and Mariah does it for herself. Mariah’s Husband Nick Cannon would have been a better choice.
If Simon Cowell was smart, he’d go after Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Jermaine Dupri, Birdman, 50 Cent, Usher, or any of the people who have accually cranked out some relevant artists over the years.
They need to stop with this have witted pretty girl whack shit and get real again!
The reason why it worked at first is because there were real judges, real people who shaped images and made careers for hopeful singers, not singer helping singers who don’t know what to say when it comes to judging.
X Factor is garbage and the judges on the show have SUCKED since season one. As for Idol it just needs to be AXED at this point…This year was dreadful and worse that watching paint dry…I feel sorry for Mariah being attached to that…and Nicki should be ashamed of herself for agreeing to cause drama and fake a feud.
This ain’t hip hop and you aren’t selling any records…it just made you look a fool and hurt your image a little bit, because some of us who like the taste of your music spit it out in the gutter and let the rain wash it away!
As for Kelly Rowland making the biggest mistake of her life – she apparently in talks with FOX now to secure her spot, and negotiations are currently taking place.

The X Factor is taking a new approach for Season 3 with a female-centric judging panel, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland and Latin pop star Paulina Rubio are in negotiations to join Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato on the hit FOX show this fall, networks sources reveal.
Jennifer Love Hewitt and Hilary Duff have also been spoken to, the sources confirmed.
“The producers and FOX have decided on their dream panel and they’re in the very final stages of negotiations as the auditions start in just a few weeks,” a source said.
It’s understood 32-year-old Rowland — who previously worked for Cowell on the UK version of The X Factor in 2011 — and Rubio, 41, are considered the front runners.
If she thought her image was struggling before, wait till she jumps on X Factor for a season….If she’s quit like Britney or too nice like Mariah it will leave a bad taste in all our mouths once again!
