For some reason Joe Jonas is causing controversy with his newest DNCE music video “Toothbrush” because he hired plus size model Ashley Graham as his leading lady!!!

Despite what everyone is saying about the new DNCE video  “Toothbrush” we are loving the fact that Joe Jonas only wanted  Ashley Graham as his leading lady.

Some may say that Ashley Graham is living out every girls fantasy, but the real fantasy being played out here is Joe’s desire to make out with Graham, who has been married to cute and hot cinematographer Justin Ervin for six years.

Joe Jonas said while on a 3-way call with Glamour:

“To be honest, we really only had one girl in mind.”

He adds:

“I just find Ashley Graham so beautiful.”

That is when Graham chimed in from her vacation in Florida, saying:

“How could I say no?”

Joe continued to say:

“We met in the trailer, and our first scene was in the bed.”

“We hit it off, just walked right into it. This video was a dream come true.”

We have to say the “Toothbrush” video is a great follow up to DNCE’s first video, “Cake By the Ocean.”  We also love the fact that Joe and Ashley look like a real couple, everything is natural, the chemistry is on point and the stairwell kisses, backseat glances, and bedroom caresses are white hot!

As for the concept of when is it right to leave your toothbrush?

Jonas shares:

“I think it’s a pretty big step…Leaving a sweatshirt is understandable, but a toothbrush is a statement. And that’s kind of why we wrote the song. If you really think about it, no one wants morning breath. And you’re obviously staying over quite a bit—I mean, no one has more than one toothbrush, right? I would say it’s gotta be a few visits before that conversation happens.”
