Universal has a new comedy duo on the way since Tina Fey and Ronda Rousey Team Up In ‘Do Nothing Bitches’!!!
CelebNMusic247.com has the latest details on the next Tina Fey comedy that is in the works…
Have you heard about Tina Fey and Ronda Rousey Team Up In ‘Do Nothing Bitches’?
Here is the latest from Universal Pictures, especially since Sisters proved its worth to the studio with $78,803,630 gross in box office sales to date.
Universal is staying in the Tina Fey business with a new comedy of the mismatched sort. Fey will star opposite MMA fighter-turned-actress Ronda Rousey in a film called Do Nothing Bitches. The official logline is being kept under wraps, but the script hails from SNL alum and Sisters scribe Paula Pell and Deadline hears it revolves around wealthy pampered wives who receive a “rude awakening” at a camp run by a no-nonsense instructor.
Sounds interesting! What do you think?
Apparently the film’s title and premise are derived from a YouTube video Rousey made last summer in which she described “Do Nothing Bitches” as women who “just try to be pretty and be taken care of by someone else.”
Since her appearance in Furious 7, and a more substantial role in Warner Bros.’ Entourage as a love interest for Jerry Ferrara’s Turtle. Rousey is becoming the next action star. She is currently working on the Nick Cassavetes’ remake of the MGM classic Roadhouse, taking on the Patrick Swayze role in the new version. Luckily for Rousey, she can act unlike Gina Carano debut in Haywire, which was like sticking needles in our eyes. We will see if Rhonda has the chops to make us laugh, wit comedic timing, but hopefully she jumps into some workshops to learn some skills sets.
Once again, Fey is producing the film alongside Pell. She’s currently busy shooting Season 2 of the Netflix comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, on which she’s an executive producer, and stars in the upcoming Warner Bros. dramedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot opposite Margot Robbie and Martin Freeman.
No word yet on when filming will start for ‘Do Nothing Bitches’ but we will probably see this movie sometime in 2017.
