While many Treasure Island Music Festival goers were discouraged when the bay area was hit with its first rain storm of the season!!!
Flip and get a unique + fun experience in the rain at TIMF by Thestoryographist…

Our friend over at Thestoryographist.com had this to say about her experience at the Treasure Island Music Festival.
Cielo may have been soaking wet from the rain, but it didn’t stop her love of music. She bared the storm all weekend to enjoy music from her favorite groups Glass Animals, Zhu, Deafheaven and many more.
TIMF a Cielo de la Paz story and experience:
The whole weekend was filled with moments that I had never seen much of, especially with the drought in California. It was great for me to capture a crowd huddled under a parachute, in raincoats, standing in puddles of water. I was awfully wet, yes. But I didn’t notice after the first 20 minutes. I was too focused on watching the drama unfold around me.
I could talk about the artists. Yes, they were all great. Some I have even more respect for now because they were true professionals. Glass Animals was my favorite, because well, they are, in general, my favorite. But the most fascinating attraction for me was the rain. George Clarke, lead singer of Deafheaven said it best while on stage “Everyone keeps talkin’ about the damn rain.” Well, yes. Because it was fascinating and it trumped anything else that happened that weekend.
