(CelebNMusic247-News) ’The Hangover Part 3′ Causing Troubles In The OC:
Production of Warner Bros. ’The Hangover Part 3‘ which stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms is currently filming and this up coming weekend [ Oct. 20 and Oct. 21] the production is shutting down one of Orange Counties main arteries and people are PISSED!
This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party in ’The Hangover Part 3‘ . What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.
Sounds like, fun right, well that’s NOT what Costa Mesa councilman Steve Mensinger is saying, since he is claiming that Gloria Roberts, a Caltrans spokeswoman lied about the production using the 73 freeway.
Word is, the production will be shutting down the 73 between the I-405 and Jamboree Road which begins at 5 a.m. Saturday and goes until the early morning hours on Monday.
However, Costa Mesa councilman Steve Mensinger, says the production will disrupt area businesses, but the county’s film commission says it will help stimulate the local economy.
Mensinger said while the closure is needed for filming of “The Hangover Part 3,” the agencies involved, such as Caltrans, should have been more forward with the public regarding the purpose of the closure.
He adds:
“These roads in particular mean something to local businesses and I just think it’s wrong for people to come in and do that without adequate input and adequate mitigation for local businesses.”
Now, Gloria Roberts, a Caltrans spokeswoman, did not specify other permit details and said the closure is being coordinated with the cities of Irvine, Newport Beach and Costa Mesa.
Get more deets about this why the ‘The Hangover Part 3′ has the OC in such an uproar…
