Taylor Frankie Paul Calls Shinia Powell Creepy

Taylor Frankie Paul says Dakota Mortensen’s girlfriend posts more photos of her son Ever than of her own kids — and she used the word “creepy.”

Co-parenting is hard. Co-parenting in public, with the other parent’s new girlfriend posting your toddler, is a whole different sport. Per Reality Blurb, Taylor Frankie Paul has shaded her ex Dakota Mortensen’s new girlfriend, Shinia Powell, as “creepy” for sharing more photos of Taylor’s son Ever than of her own kids.

The history under that one word is deep, and none of it is ancient. Taylor and Dakota’s relationship ended in 2025, and per Reality Tea‘s earlier coverage, Taylor accused Dakota of cheating with Powell shortly after Ever was born in March 2024 — an affair Dakota later admitted to on a Season 4 FaceTime call, conceding, “Was it dumb of me? Yes… Who it was matters, and that’s where I think I went wrong.” In August, Dakota and Powell made the relationship Instagram official with a PDA-heavy photo dump captioned “Soaking up our last bit of summer,” shared amid the former couple’s ongoing custody dispute, as TMZ also reported.

Taylor Frankie Paul’s public response at the time was arch rather than angry — an AI-generated image of two women resembling herself and Powell in matching outfits, captioned to the effect that the two now “meet up weekly” for custody exchanges anyway. “This isn’t news to me,” she wrote. The “creepy” comment is a tonal shift. It is not about Dakota moving on; it is about Ever’s face, Ever’s photo feed, and who gets to build a public image around a child who is not theirs.

That distinction is why this lands differently from standard ex drama on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Fans can argue all day about matching outfits and hard launches. A mother drawing a line around her son’s presence on someone else’s page is a boundary claim, and it puts Dakota — the one person connected to both women and to Ever — in the position of having to referee a fight he helped create.

Neither Dakota nor Powell has publicly answered the “creepy” charge in the coverage so far, and with custody still contested, every post in this triangle is doing double duty as content and as evidence in the court of public opinion.

The 247 Take — Taylor Frankie Paul played the August hard launch cool, but a line about her kid was always going to be the line. Expect this one to be litigated in captions all season — and the only winning move for Dakota is getting Ever’s photos off both women’s feeds.
