CelebNMusic247.com has just got word that Stephen Collins has been fired via GossipCop from Ted 2 after a shocking tape in which he confesses to molesting young girls emerged. The actor, best known as the father on “7th Heaven,” had a role in the sequel to Seth MacFarlane’s hit teddy bear comedy.
On Tuesday, Collins was terminated from the project after his stunning molestation admission. Neither MacFarlane nor Universal Pictures has given official comment.
Ted 2 may NOT be for kids, but it surely isn’t for child molester either since the storyline of the film deal with a young boy who grows up with his childhood Teddy Bear who comes to live and goes by the name of Ted.
Besides loosing his gig in the upcoming sequel to the mega hit film Ted, Stephen Collins has resigned from his spot on the National Board of the Screen Actors Guild after his taped confession to child molestation surfaced on Tuesday.
A rep for SAG has confirmed that Collins has quit the position before the end of his three-year term.
He was also removed from the Committee for Stress-Free Schools, a project for which he’d been co-director.
Collins was also fired from Ted 2 on Tuesday.
The moves come following the release of a shocking recording in which Collins admits to his estranged wife that he had inappropriate sexual contact with multiple preteen girls.
