Let’s not forget Stacey Dash is the black woman who told BET and Black History Month no longer be celebrated.
Who can forget Stacey telling stating:
“Either we want to have segregation or integration. And if we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards where you’re only awarded if you’re Black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard. Just like there shouldn’t be a Black History Month. You know? We’re Americans. Period. That’s it.”

The 51-year-old has reportedly filed as a Republican for the House of Representatives in the 44th district of California – that includes North Long Beach, San Pedro, Watts, and Compton. The district is currently being run by a Democrat.
Stacey tweeted her plans saying:
“A number of people online and off have suggested I run for political office. I wanted to see what my online community thinks of this idea as I mull the possibilities. Thoughts?”
She also posted this announcement on Instagram:
“In response to numerous calls for me to run for office, I am considering a run for Congress. Would love to know what my fans and friends think.”
