If you were watching the Oscars last night then you saw Oscars MOST Awkward Appearance and now Stacey Dash Responds to the Controversy!!!
CelebNMusic247.com was taken back when we saw Stacey Dash on the Oscars, but it was what she said that just left a bad taste in our mouth and now Dash is responding on the flip…
For those who missed it Chris Rock brought out the ‘Clueless’ actress sarcastically dubbing her the Academy’s newest Director of Diversity Outreach. She then surprisingly comes out on stage and says:
“I cannot wait to help my people out. Happy Black History Month.”
Aw-w-wkard!
This was an obvious snub at her controversial remarks in regards to eliminating Black History month, but it was crickets from the audience from Dash Awkward appearance.
Everyone was dumbfounded.
Shortly after the joke gone wrong moment, social media had a field day with her taking another L on behalf of being black but this time Stacey Dash felt it necessary to clap back!
She took to Pathos, a blogging site, to explain her joke gone wrong in a post entitled, “Who is Stacey Dash and why did she just walk across the Oscar stage.”

Stacey Dash responded by saying:
“You might be watching the Oscars and wondering why someone named Stacey Dash just walked across the stage. (Why was that funny anyway?)”
Well, I’m Stacey – with an “e” – and it’s nice to meet you. I was born in the South Bronx, became an actress in Hollywood where I starred in the 1995 movie Clueless.
