The Shia LaBeouf Anti-Trump Installation was supposed to last as long as President Donald Trump was in office, only 21 days after it went up, the museum took it down! What happened?
Find out why the museum decided to shut down the Shia LaBeouf art installation protesting against Donald Trump…

CelebNMusic247.com just got word that LaBeouf’s latest venture with Nastja Säde Rönkkö and Luke Turner has been shut down by the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City.
Since President Trump was inaugurated back on January 20th, Shia LaBeouf’s art installation protest has been on a permanent livestream outside the museum in Queens. It was to encourage participants to stand in front of a camera and say the words ‘He Will Not Divide Us’ for as long as they want.
Yeah, that’s NOT going to happen.
It was the latest real-life art project launched by Shia LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner, but the Moving Image museum has shut it down due to for reasons of “ongoing public safety” issues.
On Friday (February 10th) Moving Image released this statement:
“The installation created a serious and ongoing public safety hazard for the museum, its visitors, its staff, local residents and businesses. While the installation began constructively, it deteriorated markedly after one of the artists was arrested at the site of the installation and ultimately necessitated this action.”
If you go there now all you will see is the words ‘The Museum Has Abandoned Us’ appearing on a black screen instead.

Although, the Museum of the Moving Image had this to say despite the closure:
“We are proud to have launched this engaging and thought-provoking digital art installation which was experienced by millions of online viewers worldwide. It had “generated an important conversation allowing interaction among people from many backgrounds and with different viewpoints.”
If you go to the Shia LaBeouf WWW.HEWILLNOTDIVIDE.US it reads as follows:
“Commencing at 9am on January 20, 2017, the day of the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States, the public is invited to deliver the words “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” into a camera mounted on a wall outside the Museum of the Moving Image, New York, repeating the phrase as many times, and for as long as they wish.
Open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the participatory performance will be live-streamed continuously for four years, or the duration of the presidency. In this way, the mantra “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community.
On February 10, 2017, the Museum of the Moving Image abandoned the project.
The artists, however, have not.”
If you recall, a few days after it launched, LaBeouf was arrested and charged with misdemeanour assault and harassment, Now, LaBeouf is expected in court on April 7th to face the charges.
