(CelebNMusic247-News) Shawty Lo Show Not Canceled:
Oxygen Network is NOT cancelling Shawty Lo’s All My Baby Mamas reality series.
Wendy Williams may have reported wrong, because All My Baby Mamas may still be airing in the near future.
It seems as if the most ratchet show ever is still going to make its debut on Oxygen network after all. After reports surfaced saying the network had abruptly canceled All My Baby Mamas yesterday, a spokesperson is now saying that is not the case.
An Oxygen representative said via 4UMF:
“This rumor is simply untrue. The project remains in early development.”
The rep told RumorFix added:
“As part of our development process, we have reviewed casting and decided not to move forward with the special. We will continue to develop compelling content that resonates with our young female viewers and drives the cultural conversation.”
To recap:
The show called All My Babies’ Mamas was under fire by the Parents Television Council, which got more than 37,000 people to sign a petition saying the development project “demeans black children, moms and dads.”
On Monday, Oxygen told us that the show was not on the cutting room floor, but what a difference a day makes — on Tuesday it was a different story:
The show is still in its development stage and is slated to debut in the spring.
Sad…
