Last night on RuPaul’s Drag Race Two Queens Sashay Away! Season 8 lands the second double elimination in Ru history!!!
For a second time in Drag Race history, two queens got the axe, but find out who and why on the flip…

Now we are going to keep this simple and sweet on our recap of RuPaul’s Drag Race “Bitch Perfect” so here is our recap!
Trust us this episode was no drag!
From the sexy Ab Soto to the coreographed compition this episode was on fire.
First the queens had to Cha Cha to the song “Cha Cha Bitch” by AB SOTO for the mini-challenge. Of course Cynthia Lee Fontaine, the sole remaining Puerto Rican queen, is the best cha-cha-er of the bunch, and she absolutely slays the competition. Chi Chi DeVayne was the other winner since she was the only one who Cha Cha’d as good as Cynthia Lee.
For Miss Congenality of the mini-challenge, we say it should go to Thorgy Thor since she did a wicked Frida Kahlo!
From there, Chi Chi and Cynthia are now team captains and they both have to lead a squad in one of RuPaul’s penny operas, this one based on Pitch Perfect.

Cynthia’s team is the proper Lady Bitches. She picked Laila McQueen, Bob, Kim Chi, Derrick Berry, and Robbie Turner.
Chi Chi’s team was named the Shady Bitches. She called upon Thorgy, Acid Betty, Dax Exclamationpoint, and Naomi Smalls.
Now that the queens have their team it was time for choreography, but Chi Chi and Acid Betty kept bumping heads. Meanwhile Cynthia had to deal with Kim Chi, who has two left feet. Basically Kim Chi is fabulous, but when it comes to dancing she’s the Helen Keller of the group. Laila McQueen also needed to step it up.
Chi Chi team had it down despite Acid’s controlling ways and Dax all up in her head overthinking everything.
Sadly enough, at the Bitch Perfect showdown, the Lady Bitches are completely overshadowed by the Shady Bitches. The problem with the Lady Bitches is that they all wore the same outfit and wig, with very little styling difference. Laila McQueen was trying to stand out, but she faded into the pink.
The Shady Bitches are clearly the winners here as they pop, lock, and twerk their more vanilla counterparts under the table.
Next was the “Movie Premiere Realness” the stand out and winner was Chi Chi DeVayne. The other standouts were, Thorgy Thor, Acid Betty, Kim Chi,
Rounding the bottom tow were Laila McQueen and Dax, who became the second double elimination in Ru history. Their lip sync was to the classic “I Will Survive,” but instead they came off boring and lackluster. Making it even worse, they both relied on the same old drag trick of ripping off their dresses. There was no effort from either of the queens and its sad because Laila McQueen even took off her dress and it was still a yawn fest.
See this season, RuPaul banned queens from snatching off their wigs when they perform. It is a tired and cheap stunt that is not rewarding at all.

No one survived! Shortly after Ru asked the two queens to Sashay Away she got on the phone and called up a replacement. Who could it be?
Some think its Shangela or a queen from a prior season that will get a second chance. We hope its a new standby that is spicy.
Before you Sashay Away check out Kingsley and Trixie Mattel clock some Queens and love on others in this week’s recap:
