See, back in the day Rodney Ramone Hill, Jr., better known as Rocko and Future were tight and the “Low Life” rapper promised to release his first six albums through his A1 Recordings.

The “U.O.E.N.O.” rapper says Epic Records signed on to distribute the albums, but then things got tricky. In the suit, he says Future cut a side deal with Epic, which scored him huge multi-million dollar advances. Rocko says he was left out in the cold because Future stiffed him to the tune of 25% — the commission he’s owed off those fat Epic advances. In addition, he says he’s owed 20% of Future’s earnings from touring, endorsements, etc…

Earlier this week, Future publicly addressed Rocko filing a $10 million lawsuit against him.
The “Umma Do Me” Atlanta rapper deserves to win the lawsuit against Future. We understand how people screw people over all the time in the business, but that is why contracts are important. Don’t do verbal agreements they don’t count at all. It NEEDS to be on paper.
