RHOA Mama Joyce - Let The Shoes Fly-1208-1

(CelebNMusic247 News) RHOA Mama Joyce Claws Are Out

Get the Vaseline, take of the earings and throw the shoes because Kandi Burruss Mama is ready to throw down some whoop @ss on Carmon!

Lawdy, Lawdy, Lawdy, tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta was heated when Kandi was finally ready to move forward with her wedding plans and try on some Wedding dresses. The only problem is Kandi invited her Auntie, Mama Joyce and Grandma, who were all ready to throw down like an elder woman’s biker gang!

OK, we ALL know Mama Joyce don’t like Todd Tucker one lick and she is making it known, but Kandi has been dusting off her Mama’s antics throwing them to the waste side. While on the flip-side, her fiance Todd and assistant Carmon are telling Kandi to stand her ground and tell her Mama to butt out of her life and her relationships.

It seems that any and everyone who gets close to Kandi, Mama Joyce don’t like. Could it be, Kandi’s mom is afraid of losing her daughters coins for herself?

We find it interesting how Mama Joyce hates anyone who gets to close to her daughter. It comes off like jealousy and not concern.

Bottom line is, Mama Joyce went ballistic in the wedding dress shop and trying to attack Carmon, telling her she always wants Kandi’s leftovers; like hair, shoes and Todd. It was heated and Mama had to be held back, which just killed the mood for Kandi’s joy. What really was a slap in Kandi’s face was when her Auntie and Grandma, both told her they’re against the marriage.

It was a mess!

To recap the rest of the show, Cynthia had actor and ex-Leon speak with his daughter about her new boyfriend, Phaedra waiting for Apollo to apologize for inappropriate behavior sexting Kenya Moore. While Kenya Moore breaks down to her grandmother about not being able to have children.

As for Porsha, she was in the hospital for fainting. She was also spotted stumbling around a CVS trying to figure out what was wrong with her and why she fainted.

Next, NeNe Leakes all the ladies to head out to Savana to get away and have some girl time together. Then NeNe had a get together with Gregg’s friends and talking about Cynthina and Phaedra Parks back int the day. NeNe said she heard Phaedra was a head doctor when they were in school togehter and that’s why all the boys came to her yard.

After the show aired Phaedra called into Andy Cohen to set the record straight, because NeNe Leakes NEVER knew her back then. She says that NeNe admitted that she thought it would be good tea on RHOA, but the head doctor remark was FALSE! no realness to any of it, sorry!

Despite the rumor that NeNe tried to start, Phaedra plays hard to get and let’s her inner Scorpion rule to get an apology from her hubby, Apollo Nida. But let’s be real what man would put up with her demanding ways. One, he is too fine for all her drama and 2, he can do better unless, Phaedra is making sure he is satisfied financially. 3, the sex better be the best he ever had, because he is gorgeous!

Here’s the drop:

Kandi’s best friend/assistant/possible-future-homicide-by-Mama-Joyce-victim, Carmon, comes over to sit in Kandi’s bedazzled living room while she looks at wedding magazines and Todd plays pool. This must be the scandalously inappropriate behavior between Carmon and Todd that has Atlanta all abuzz. Kandi tells Carmon that Mama Joyce apologized for her comments about the engagement ring and promised she would be more open-minded toward her engagement. I must have missed that episode, because the last time I saw Mama Joyce she was threatening Todd with a Marvin Gaye song and, I think, brandishing a blunt object.

Carmon, who is not brainwashed (and also scares me a little), tells Kandi that her mom “isn’t going to be happy until you have absolutely nobody around you but her.” Ding, ding, ding, you are correct! And in what I hope isn’t Bravo foreshadowing anything, Todd adds on that he needs Kandi to stand up for him to her mother (the “or else I’m out of here” is implicit).

Potential new cast-wife alert: Nene and Gregg go to visit their friends Mynique (if you think I don’t type “Mystique” and have to go back and correct it every single time, you would be wrong) and Chuck. Gregg does some sort of Drake-inspired call and response with a confused

Chuck:
Gregg: Where’d we start?!
Chuck:…
Gregg: Where’d we start?!
Chuck: From the bottom?
Gregg: NOW WE HERE!

Bless his heart, it was delightful. They sit down to lunch and Nene tells Mynique she wants her to spend time with the people she hangs out with, AKA, audition for season 7 because Kenya/Porsha have proved risky investments. Nene figures the best way to preview her housewife pals to Mynique is to figure out how many of them have slept with her husband. Obviously. Chuck confirms that he previously “hung out” with Kandi but he’s a little coyer about Phaedra. Nene says Phaedra had a bit of a rep in Athens, where they’re all from, and calls her a nickname I don’t think I’m allowed to print here. Chuck declares, “I never had sexual intercourse with Phaedra Parks.” Listen, I was 8 when Bill Clinton first played that card, but even then, I knew what he was getting at. Tread lightly, Chuck.
