The Paperboy, and upcoming Stoker actress continues to impress us with the cover of V magazine.
Kidman, 45, discusses he husband, Keith Urban, her children and her career, including a cameo in Lars von Trier’s upcoming film, “Nymphomaniac.”
Nicole Kidman tells V:
“He’s going to do another thing that is going to shock the world.”
The actress admits the controversial director once tried to make her wear a dog collar, but said they remain friends.
Nicole explains:
“There’s different philosophers in the world, and some of them are going to be extreme and controversial and some of them aren’t.”
“And we need both.”
Nicole Kidman also speaks on everything from her personal life to peeing on Zac Efron.
The sexy Aussie, Kidman also touched on her childhood, mostly spent indoors reading books, as her parents forbade her from spending much time in the sun.
Kidman says she read literature like Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy and Flaubert for hours in a day.
She adds:
“At the time I thought it was the cruelest thing, and now I know it was the greatest gift.”
“I probably had a strong sexuality as a child, so that informs all that yearning and wanting things, and the hormones that are running through you at an early age — they all started to surge because of the things I was reading.”
