Mimi Faust revealed on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta that her daughter, Eva, along with Faust’s friend, Ariane, were the only ones who was aware of her new same-sex relationship, well that appears to be a lie, according to Faust.
The master of back-stepping, Mimi Faust is once again switching up and now saying what her daughter really knows just days after it came out that Stevie J did not approve of her dating a woman and bringing her around their child.
On LHHATL, Faust said:
“I’ve been seeing Chris for a while now. But for the exception of Ariane and my daughter, no one knows about this. But guess what? That’s all about to change.”
Many fans presumed that Faust was saying her daughter knew about her relationship with the woman, Chris. But Faust is saying. No, No, No that is incorrect, her daughter doesn’t know what’s really going on between them.
Mimi told Page Six:
“Eva doesn’t know that Chris and I are like that. I don’t have any type of PDA in front of my daughter with Chris and Eva just looks at her as mommy’s friend.”
Mimi is waiting to see what happens with her relationship if she and Chris continue dating.
She adds:
“If I get really serious with Chris and we’re going to be life partners, of course I will let Eva know that this is something more than just mommy’s friend. I have to be very certain about that first…”
As for Stevie J, TMZ reported that he told the publication he wasn’t a fan of Chris and Faust’s relationship playing out in front of their daughter.
Actually we don’t blame Stevie J, because it is coming off like Mimi Faust will do anything to secure her spot on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. You have to think about it. Since Stevei J moved on to Joseline, Mimi doesn’t have a story line unless she does something shocking. The first two seasons where about he fights with Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez, but that faded and became old news. So she brought in Nikko and the sex tape in season 3 to reignite drama on the show, but that quickly came and went, so Nikko juiced it up with his lesbian wife Margeaux Simms, who should have NEVER came on the show. The love triangle story line had been re-birthed so many times it was played, so now she’s gay?
We are sorry Mimi, but it looks fraudulent. The kiss was like a friend kiss and didn’t come off like a real couple. It also feels like Mimi Faust, the woman who once said she was the next Kim Kardashian of reality TV is desperate for a storyline on LHHATL. It’s almost embarrassing that she would play gay for the camera. We’re NOT buying any of it, but hey let’s see it play out, which will most like lead up to a break up for Mimi and another year under her belt.
As for Stevie J, the man who pretended to be married to a stripper for 4 years has yet to talk about his alleged feelings.
“He actually hasn’t had a conversation with me. I was very insulted by [what he said]. He left his family to be with someone else and who I choose to date isn’t any of his business.”
Faust also seemed to clap back on Instagram Thursday.
“In 2016 we should not be using gay and lesbian as a way to degrade someone. Someones sexuality is not a reflection of their character and more importantly, what type of parent they are. The most important thing is that the child feels love regardless of whether it comes from a man or a woman…”
Mimi give it up girl, none of us are buying the lesbian story line which was Margeaux Simms for this season until she was fired by Mona Scott-Young. LHHATL producers cut the dead weight, but wanted to incorporate a gay couple since LHHH had Milan and Miles, but faking gay is wrong on so many levels.
If you think about it, Mimi is coming off as the MOST THIRSTY reality TV star beside Farrah Abrams. Faust has gone from victim of a cheating man to baby mama on a mission. After that didn’t work, she turned to Mimi got her grove back, to Mimi the porn star and then back the Mimi with a vengeance. And now she’s Mimi the lesbian with a secret.
