Milan has already gained the attention of The New York Post and interviewed with Kandi Burrus on her Kandi Koated Nights in the A.

Milan was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, the home of Drill rap, founded by Chief Keef. At 24-years-of-age he moved to LA in the summer of 2008 where he began modeling and acting.

From there Milan branched out into the world of music rapping and producing where he found his niche in the entertainment industry in the city of Angels abandoning his plans of becoming a biologist.

His credits include guest spots on Nip Tuck, The Doctors, The Evolution of Andrew Andrews and 12 Corozones, as well as commercials for brands like Red Bull, Chase Bank, and Virgin Mobile. Soon after Milan started doing music videos with Kanye West, The Game, Lil Wayne, & Neyo. It wasn’t until Milan worked with Beyoncé that he realized he wanted to focus on his solo rap career and concentrate on his own brand. Milan released his EDM rap single “Burning Up” under the music management of D-tech A.R. of Akon’s Konvicts Musiq Label.

Still writing and producing music for himself and working with other artists, Milan has also expanded his brand to modeling, a teeth whitening facility, and he is starting his own underwear line.

Milan is also the owner a small boutique Talent agency called M.C.T.M.A. and several social networking sites.

On Love & Hip Hop Hollywood the premiere episode kicks off with Milan and his boyfriend Miles Brock aka Siir Brock at a crossroads since Brock is NOT out.

Brock is an actor and West Coast rapper on the rise and for Brock, coming out is the hardest thing to do. On Love & Hip Hop Hollywood season 2 fans will watch the trials and tribulations of Brock facing the world about his secret. There is also a love triangle between Milan, Miles and Amber (She is Brock’s high school sweetheart who has no clue of his sexuality).

We think it is great, but just because a rapper is gay, it doesn’t mean they need to rap about man on man sex. True rap is about society, issues, corruption, and other things besides material objects, clothing, and superficial things. Too much rap has become materialistic, but thankfully hip hop veterans like  Scarface, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Dr Dre, The Game still exist.

What we heard from Siir Brock so far sounds great and we look forward to his music.
