CelebNMusic247.com has got word that Mariah Carey ended it and everyone hoped that she would. Apparently they feel she has better things to focus on instead of a boy.

Carey sources told PEOPLE:

“The split happened very recently. Mariah ended it — everyone hoped that she would. She has better things to focus on better things. Mariah is happy. She is focusing on her kids and new music.”

The insider adds:

“Bryan was a good distraction after she split from James. This is a good time for her to be single and focus on herself.”

We like to refer to him as filler, or the get over him guy. Too bad Bryan Tanaka, the 33-year-old dancer and choreographer, was clueless.

The only problem is that Mariah, 47, basically created a monster, since Tanaka has come accustom to the good life. Carey was over it, she could no longer deal with his spending habits and his jealousy over her relationship with ex-husband Nick Cannon.

Like we said earlier, Mariah and ex-husband Nick Cannon share twins Monroe and Moroccan, who turn 6 this month.

Nick and Mimi split in 2014, but they’ve remained close as co-parents of their children, and their bond reportedly irked Tanaka. Bryan started flirting with other women in front of Carey out of spite to make Mariah jealous. It just annoyed her and made her realize that he was a boy and NOT a man, so she has given him walking papers, like she should.

The split came after Carey and Cannon’s joint appearance at the Kids’ Choice Awards last month. According to inside sources, Tanaka reportedly felt the display “disrespected” him.
