Love Thy Sister Recap 1 – 3!!!
Love Thy Sister Recap: (1 – 3) – It’s the newest WeTV reality TV series that kicked off in January 2015 and the Rucker Sister are making waves and taking names.
Episode 1 we meet the Rucker Sisters on the episode titled “Roots of Our Discontent” as we see that money divides the sisters.
Ellen and Ruby‘s daughter almost get hit by a car while picking up a couple things for the family outing. Ione gets caught in the shower in a compromising situation in the shower by her sister.
Meanwhile Ruby is dealing with her husband‘s ex at a charity event, while baby sis, Ione is trying to pick up the pieces as she steps back into the dating pool. She is already head over heels for a doctor and friend of her brother Aaron. The only problem is that she hasn’t moved on from her ex.
Later on, Ruby finds creative places to have sex with her husband. THe show is fun packed and no, there is no ratchetness from these ladies. Just real situations and real family troubles. Grade A, positive TV from WeTV.

On Episode 2, titled, “It’s All About Communication…” Ione tells Ellen that her boyfriend Bakari is going to propose which causes drama between the sisters.
Basically Ione sets Ellen up for a fall with Bakari while out to dinner for their five year anniversary. Meanwhile Ione tell Ruby, who is NOT a fan of Bakari, which causes a riff with the sisters. The worst part of the romantic anniversary dinner is that Bakari doesn’t propose, Ellen is devastated. In a heart-to-heart conversation with Bakari, Ellen learns that she needs to communicate better about what she wants.
Back at Ione house, she gets a call and finds out her aunts stole her shoes she put on consignment and she now must confront her aunts about stealing her shoes. However, when she sees them wearing the shoes she was trying to sell, Ione is forced to face her fears and stand up for herself. #drama
Later, Ruby makes a scene in her husband’s office when she hears a new employee is dressing inappropriately, forcing him to kick her out of his office. It’s a mess. She realizes her wrongs but she has to face her husband after making a spectacle in his office. Ruby realizes she needs to respect her husband’s boundaries in order to have a healthy relationship.
On episode 3, titled, “Meet The Ruckers” Ellen suspects her boyfriend is cheating, while the sisters parenting styles clash and Ione gets set up on a date after Ellen catches her masturbating!
Ellen has major trust issues with her boyfriend Bakari, so when Bakari doesn’t answer one of her many calls while he is away on business, Ellen loses it, almost costing her the relationship.
Being a contemporary mom, Ruby has no problem with her daughter Riley cursing when she is standing up for herself, even though it offends the family’s traditional southern values, specifically Ellen. However, when Riley uses curse words to stand up for Ellen in a near car accident in a parking lot, Ellen sees that Riley only uses curse words in appropriate contexts, challenging her stance on the subject.
Ione hasn’t been with a man in two years, relying solely on sex toys as her means of pleasuring herself. After Ellen catches Ione masturbating in the shower, the sisters introduce her to a potential suitor, Carl. Ione finally learns that some things are best left in the privacy of her own home and maybe the time has come to get back out into the dating world so she can give her toys a break.
