Power star Naturi Naughton is still shocked to hear “The Shade is REAL” when it comes to Lil Kim still being heated over her performance in Notorious???
Flip and get the tea from Naturi Naughton on how she feels about Lil Kim…
CelebNMusic247.com just caught wind that Power star Naturi Naughton addresses the on going alleged beef with Lil’ Kim.
It’s been a little over seven years, Naturi Naughton has moved on to her hit series Power. She can’t believe that Lil Kim is still upset over her portrayal of her in the Biggie biopic Notorious.
Kim has been very vocal about her displeasure with the way she was portrayed in the film ever since. Apparently, Kim even asked that she not be in the same vicinity as Naughton during the VH1 Hip Hop Honors award show after-party.
Naughton appeared on VH1 Live with Marc Lamont Hill, and the star of Power was asked about the rumored issues between her and the Queen Bee.
“The shade is real. I don’t understand it,” said Naughton. “You know what Marc, maybe you can find out why.”
She continued:
“All I know is I had the pleasure and honor of playing Lil Kim in the film Notorious. I would love to see some kind of affinity [from her]… I was a first-time actress in a film. This was the beginning of my career. I’m a little black girl from Jersey, why not uplift and support that?”

What do you think about Lil Kim still being upset with Naturi Naughton?
Should Kim get over it? Was Naturi Naughton’s performance that wrong? Does Kim forget its the directors choice how Lil Kim was portrayed? We guess Kim has to be mad at someone and it can’t be Diddy or Faith Evans. She has to work with them. Instead she is going after Naturi Naughton who was a new comer at the time of filming.
Is any of this fair?
