Kim Kardashian turned 46 on Wednesday, October 21, and she marked it with a family dinner at Baldi, the restaurant inside the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills — plus not one, but two archival fashion moments.

The birthday girl arrived in an emerald-green metal mesh mini caftan with a plunging neckline and a matching bejeweled headpiece, per Page Six. Once inside, she changed into a blood-red version of the same design for the party itself. Both looks come from Paco Rabanne’s fall 1996 couture collection — pieces older than some of the guests’ careers — pulled by her stylist Law Roach, with Rabanne creative director Olivier Rousteing confirming the vintage pull on Instagram.
Inside, Kim blew out the candles on a giant raspberry-covered cake, and on Thursday she shared a carousel from the night on Instagram, captioned simply: “Birthday Girl.”
The Whole Family Turned Out
Mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kylie Jenner, Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian all came out to celebrate — but the guest who got fans talking was brother Rob Kardashian. Rob, 39, who rarely appears in public, showed up in an all-black casual look and was photographed chatting with Kim, Khloé and Kourtney outside the restaurant, per Page Six and Parade.
Khloé posted her own tribute from the night, opening with “Happy Happy Birthday to my Keeks!!! My sister, my best friend, my forever girl!” Kris marked the day with a family-photo tribute of her own, closing with: “I love you endlessly, and I’m so proud of you my beautiful girl.”
A Warm-Up Trip to the Philippines
The Beverly Hills dinner was actually round two. Kim started celebrating early with a Philippines getaway she captioned “Philippines Birthday Adventures” — boat rides, scuba diving, sunsets, fireworks over the water and another birthday cake at an oceanside dinner. Not a bad way to roll into 46: an island adventure first, then chainmail and cake with the whole family.
The 247 Take — Anyone can do a birthday dinner. Kim did a two-country rollout with archival couture, a cake the size of a side table, and got the family’s most camera-shy member out of the house. That’s not a party, that’s a production — and nobody produces like a Kardashian.
