Keyshawn Johnson Arrested!
Here’s an uncomfortable story for you: ESPN analyst and former NFL great Keyshawn Johnson was arrested today on domestic violence charges in Calabasas, CA.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned via 4UMF.com that Keyshawn was involved in a fight with his ex-girlfriend when things allegedly got physical. Here is what is being reported by TMZ, who has the details:
According to law enforcement … Keyshawn was involved in a fight with his ex-girlfriend when things allegedly got physical. Sources say he smashed her phone, causing a gash to her hand.
Our sources say the two had an up-and-down relationship and were arguing over marriage.
Johnson was formally arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery and booked.
Bail was set at 20K. Keyshawn made bail and is now out.
ESPN has yet to comment, saying they are “looking into the situation.” Suffice to say that if Johnson is guilty, he’ll have a lot more time to chase down Justin Bieber and give him a stern lecture on responsibility, since ESPN would be unlikely to retain him. Of course, if he still played in the NFL, he’d been right back on the field.
