You might say it’s was all about Fin last night since John Boyega Can’t Stop Smiling at Star Wars World Premiere in Hollywood.

Hollywood’s new shining star is about to get the awakening of his life once Star Wars The Force Awakens takes flight in theaters…

Who is John Boyega?

In case you don’t know who John Boyega, he plays Fin in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The Peckham, London, England born actor was first spotted in Sci-fi thriller “Attack on The Block” – from there Boyega starred in “Imperial Dreams” (2014) and “My Murder” (2012), but you probably didn’t know that since his film never had mass release.

Since an early age John has been honing in on his craft as an actor. He start performing at the Theatre Peckham, a local performing arts centre for talented children aged 9 to 14. From there Boyega spent almost every day after school at the theatre, as well as weekends. At 16, he moved to South Thames College to study performing arts, and joined the Identity School of Acting in Hackney, London. Boyega later enrolled at Greenwich University but as his career took off, he left to concentrate on acting.

Obviously his love for the craft has paid off, because he is Fin in Star War VII aka The Force Awakens, the first of three in the next trilogy of the Star Wars franchise. Who new Star Wars was going to be such a huge success and span over four decades?

Boyega hit the red carpet last night in Hollywood stuntin a custom purple Versace tuxedo. He is joined by the original cast members, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill, the names that quickly became household names as well as icons in the Comic Con Universe. Now with the new Star Wars trilogy John Boyega will carry the torch and continue the legacy of the family classic Star Wars franchise.

Last night John Boyega was having the time of his life and the Star Wars The Force Awakens world premiere took over Hollywood in force.

Yes the force was with everyone at the Star Wars The Force Awakens as Boyega was heard saying he was having a great time, but “it was so surreal.”

The actor and longtime Star Wars fan was apparently still in character at the premiere last night, he told E:

“Absolutely…I’m still in character.”

If you are wondering about the one black glove Boyega wore last night Zuri Hall confirmed that John wore it as a reference to Luke Skywalker, whose hand was chopped off by Darth Vader in 1980’s Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. In 1983’s Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, Luke wore a leather black glove over his prosthetic, robotic hand. “It’s as if no one has watched the Star Wars movie,” he said when asked about the accessory. “I mean, the fans will get it. This is Luke Skywalker’s hand that got chopped off, and replaced with his robotic hand…This is my Star Wars-esque homage.”

The London native is the new addition to young Hollywood looking dapper in a purple suit. Boyega is going to become a household name in 4 days and counting like unknown talents like “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, “Twilight” stars, Anna Kendrick, Kristen Stewart, Robert Patterson, “Harry Potter” stars, Danielle Radcliff and Emma Watson.

Before the franchises hit the big screen no one knew who they were and now John Boyega is about to become the new actor to catapult to super star status.
