Emilio from CelebNMusic247.com had a chance to speak with San Francisco native, Jazmyn Simon about Ballers.

She tells us that she feels that her character Julie Greane will stand by her man Charles (Omar Benson Miller), but there will be some new challenges.

Jazmyn Simon also says that she studied shows like Basketball Wives and other reality shows to bring Julie Greane to life. She says that Julie doesn’t fit the mold of a “NFLers wife.”

We touched on the struggles on how women who marry NFL players must deal with Ballers who have too much time to stray. She says that Julie doesn’t want to be a stereotype and reveals that her character is a doctor.

When it comes to dating an NFL player in life, she says, “NEGATIVE…No Thank you.”

In case you didn’t know, Jazmyn Simon is dating her Ballers costar, Dulé Hill. He plays Larry Siefert, Charles boss on Ballers. Of course, we had to ask how did they meet. Simon says that they met on set in Miami. When it comes to how he picked her up, she says that he had no pickup line. However, he did remain friends with her until she was single. Dulé was smooth with it, Jazmyn reveals he asked her out for oysters and the rest is history. But you must listen to Jazmyn story on how Dulé Hill won her heart.

We asked Jazmyn five questions, but you should listen to the interview to hear what her answers are.
