Never to late to fulfill your bucket list right? British heartthrob + Hollywood Hunk, Idris Elba will be testing his limits as a professional kickboxer.
CelebNHealth247.com got word via Idris himself since he gave fans an inside look at his personal life as he gears up for his first battle on the upcoming docu-series “Idris Elba: Fighter,” according to a news release on Tuesday.
The show will chronicle the 43-year-old’s year-long journey training in Britain, Cuba, Japan, South Africa and Thailand. Under the supervision of former world champions, coaches and trainers, Elba will incorporate new training methods to increase his chances of having a successful fight.
Elba revealed:
“It has been a lifelong ambition of mine to fight professionally.”
“Entering the ring to further test myself as a human being is a challenge I have been looking to take on for quite some time.”
It’s no surprise Elba decided to embark on this journey. He used to train for kickboxing in his 20s, but never competed in an actual match. Elba has been previewing his gym sessions for his Instagram followers. However, many of Elba’s fans have been trafficking his Instagram page just to see Idris shirtless. Not to mention his rippling abs and tight muscles.

Of course, Idris fulfilling his dreams won’t be going unnoticed, since there is a series which will follow his journey. The series will begin airing on Discovery Networks International channels in early 2017.
Currently Idris has a series called Idris Elba: No Limits on Discovery UK that started in July. It airs on Mondays at 9pm.
