In a new interview rapper / director / actor Ice Cube weighed in when asked if he’d allow his son to date a Kardashian, Ice Cube says The Kardashians Couldn’t Handle O’Shea Jackson Jr.!!!

When the Barbershop: The Next Cut star Ice Cube was asked about if he’s allow his son to date one of the Kardashian’s, Cube replied saying that he definitely doesn’t tell his son what to do anymore!

CelebNMusic247.com also learned that daddy, Ice Cube had this to say about his son, O’Shea Jackson Jr. at the  premiere of Barbershop: The Next Cut in Los Angeles on Wednesday night:

“I’m so proud of him.”

“He’s out working. He’s trying to start submitting himself out in Hollywood.”

But he clarified that he can’t ever tell his son who he can and can’t date. He was recently asked about letting his son date a Kardashian.

Ice Cube weighed in and revealed to People:

“Oh no, I didn’t say no Kardashians. It isn’t my choice. But I don’t think they can handle him.”

Alrighty then? It appears O’Shea Jr. has it going on like Jason Momoa.

Making a mark is something both father and son have been passionate about. Particularly in the light of the conversations about diversity in Hollywood and the fact that Cube’s film had such a grand premiere.

The “Check Yo Self” rapper turned actor concludes by saying:

“Putting time, effort, money into opening it up at the Chinese Theater, it gets no bigger than this and that’s what we want.”

“We just want to have the big stage like everybody else, that’s all.”

As for what he loves the most about having grown up kids, Cube took a slightly more practical approach, by jokingly replying with these words:

“You can send them to the store.”
