During a Q&A with THR, Reese and Wernick, while promoting their new film, Life. Reese was into the idea of Hugh Jackman in Deadpool 2.
Reese said”
“Oh my gosh, that’s one we haven’t heard. That’s not a bad idea. I like that. Deadpool lives in a world where Hugh Jackman is out there. He’s got the People’s Sexiest Man Alive cover that he staples to his forehead in the first movie, so maybe he could meet Hugh as Hugh. That would be really funny.”
How The Vulture ties Iron Man to Spider Man, USA Today says:
They give a lot of detail about exactly who Adrian Toomes is and why he becomes The Vulture. Apparently, Michael Keaton‘s character will be a guy who runs a salvage company that specializes in doing the clean-up after large-scale disasters, like say the sorts of massive battles that tend to take place during any given Marvel movie. Unfortunately for him, things go south when a new government-run organization comes in to take over those sorts of jobs. This new company happens to have been founded by one Tony Stark. Thus, Toomes feels he has a score to settle with Iron Man.
According to co-producer Eric Hauserman Carroll:
“Some people see themselves as victims — he sees himself a little bit like that. He probably would have a strong argument that he never got a fair shot — a lot of ‘Why not me? Where’s mine?”
Meanwhile, Darce Montgomery, who plays the Red Ranger in this new movie, revealed to THR that he and other members of the cast hope that the Green Ranger is played by a female in Power Rangers 2.
Here is what he had to say about it.
“A lot of the cast and I have discussed that we think it should be a girl. It makes it even: three girls, three boys. It’s left blank. It’s a cliff-hanger. Whoever you’re going to drop into that position, whether it’s a girl, it’s inevitably going to create drama. It’ll be interesting to drop that drama into it and see how we all relate to it and work with it.”
Director Dean Israelite didn’t comment on the Green Ranger being played by a female but he makes it clear, if you read between the lines, that the Green Ranger will be a factor moving forward.
“There’s a post-credits scene, so people should stay. It teased up the direction of what the next movie could be. For people that know the brand, it’s super exciting. There are so many ideas we’re kicking around in the direction of where the film leads you.”
Just in, is the news that Jessica Chastain wants to take on the role of Poison Ivy in Gotham City Sirens. Her response wasn’t overly enthusiastic, but Chastain is at least open to the idea.
Here is what Jessica Chastain had to say about playing Poison Ivy in Gotham City Sirens opposite Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn.
She told Cinema Blend:
“I’m interested in all things where the characters are strong and dynamic, and not stereotypes or objects. I like female characters that are subjects, not objects. And so, if Poison Ivy happens to be that, sure. Throw my hat in the ring.”
We think that Chastain as Poison Ivy is a great balance to Margot Robbie in Gotham City Sirens. Jessica is a strong woman and an incrediable actress. That combination alone is a Hell Yeah overly sexualized or NOT we are looking forward to this movie.
