Mob Wives Star Ramona Rizzo Can’t deny her mafia ties, because the feds want to stop the nuptials and are accusing Ramona and her fiancée of staging the wedding for a Mob Wives storyline!
All last season Ramona Rizzo was keeping a secret from her Mob Wives star cast that she was engaged to Joseph Sclafani.
The Mob Wives reality TV staris all set to marry Joseph Sclafani before he begins a 15-year prison sentence for cocaine trafficking. Unfortunately the feds want to stop the nuptials and are accusing Ramona and her fiancée of staging the wedding for a Mob Wives storyline!

Here’s what’s happening: Joseph, who is currently in jail, is seeking a furlough from New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center to visit his gravely ill father, Augustus, who has liver cancer. Unfortunately federal prosecutors believe that is a scheme for Joseph to leave jail in order to have a “shotgun” wedding withRamona, which will be featured on Mob Wives!
“Recent episodes center around whether [Sclafani] will be released from custody for a short period of time so that he can attend his wedding,” said documents filed in federal court by Assistant U.S. attorneys.
The prosecution argues:
“[Rizzo] emphasizes that the wedding plans need to be flexible because if the defendant were to be released from custody, he would be given only 48 hours notice of his release … as a result she and the defendant are planning a ‘shotgun’ wedding that needs to come together within a short period of time.”
It’s also been mentioned that if the furlough is granted Joseph could even receive an overnight stay at his parents house, which would be more than enough time to have a wedding for reality cameras!
Joseph’s attorney, Tim Parlatore denies that there was a furlough wedding staged and recites a rule that prohibits inmates from marrying while on emergency release. He did add that Ramona and Joseph have not requested a stipulation to exchange vows while he is in prison.
We find this all interesting, but what happens when Mob Wives airs Ramona and Joseph getting married on the new season of the series?
