(CelebNMusic247 News) Dwayne Johnson‘s The Rundown Finally Getting A Sequel!
Finally, after 10 years, director Peter Berg is working on a sequel to the cult classic action comedy The Rundown starring Dwayne Johnson / Seann William Scott.
The Rundown is currently development and is expected to have Dwayne Johnson / Seann William Scott reprise their roles in the upcoming and long-awaited sequel. If Anchorman 2 can have a sequel, so can The Rundown, because the movie was baddass!
Here’s the drop via Peter Berg:
Although it was met with an almost universal shrug of the shoulders from critics, the 2003 film has seemingly become a cult classic and Berg has discussed the possibility of a follow-up while on the press junket for his latest film Lone Survivor.
Berg tells Collider:
“We just met with writers, so we’re trying to do it.”
“I really want to do it. I’ve talked to Dwayne. I have an actor in mind that I can’t say that I want to work with Dwayne on it, and we want to do it.”
Any chance of the film actually being released would have to wait, with Berg currently attached to direct American Desperado with Lone Survivor star Mark Wahlberg.
