Dr Dre Sets to Sue Lifetime’s Michel’le Biopic

CelebNMusic247.com yet another movie about NWA, but this film focuses around Dr Dre and his relationship with Michel’le, who just wants her truth to be told.

Before we get into this, let’s be honest about one thing. NWA made up of 5 men, Ice Cube, Eazy E, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, + DJ Yella. Right there you have 5 versions of living NWA. If you add, Jerry Heller, Suge Knight, Michel’le and anyone else that was involved in that era you have 8 stories that can be told. Straight Outta Compton is just one story from Ice Cube’s perspective. Now there is a second story, “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le,” a telling from R&B artist Michel’le who endured some very turbulent years with Dr. Dre. She wanted her truth to be told since it was left out of Straight Outta Compton. The only problem is Dr Dre who admits “I made some f-cking horrible mistakes in my life,” wants to sue if the film airs.

Huh?

Dr Dre vs Michel’le:

Ice Cube + Dr Dre were able to have some of their truth told with Straight Outta Compton, which infuriated Suge Knight, and also caused the untimely death of his friend Terry Carter. We recently reported Cube and Dre were cleared of all charges.

Now, Dre is apparently lashing out and readying to sue Sony Pictures if the made for TV movie “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le,” airs.

Lifetime is pushing the envelope again since Straight Outta Compton was such a HUGE success. There are more stories to be told besides NWA. All the people that Cube and Dre came in contact has their story, like Dre’s mother of his child, Michel’le.

Of course, Dre denies any abuse and his legal team has sent a cease and desist letter to Sony Pictures. The letter reportedly states that Dr Dre and Michel’le dated 30 years ago and during the time, she never hinted at abuse or violent behavior. The letter also claims that Michel’le never filed a police report or sought medical attention. – TMZ

No one knows what really happened, but Michel’le has spoken about her abuse claims from Dr Dre from back in the day. In 2015, Michel’le broke her silence on her ex-fiancée Dre, who she dated from 1990 – 1996.

In the interview with Billboard R&B Divas star, Michel’le seems complacent about her omission from the film, N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, She said the biopic was “Cube’s version of his life.”

She revealed at the time:

“Why would [Dr.] Dre put me in it? If they start from where they start from. I was just a quiet girlfriend who got beat up and told to sit down and shut up.”

Michel’le went on to detail the the abuse from Dr Dre in a past interview with The Breakfast Club

“When he gave me my very first black eye, we laid in the bed and cried,” she said on the morning show. “He was crying and I was crying because I was in shock, hurt and in pain. I don’t know why he was crying, but he said ‘I’m really sorry.’ That was the only time he ever said he was really sorry. And he said, ‘I’ll never hit you in that eye again, okay?’” She said in the interview that he kept that promise, but hit her in other places — “I have scars that are just amazing,” she told the show.

Shortly after her interviews Dr Dre confronted abuse allegations during the Straight Outta Compton press tour, telling Rolling Stone (Still NOT admitting the truth that he abused Michel’le):

“I made some f-cking horrible mistakes in my life.”

“I was young, f-cking stupid! I would say all the allegations aren’t true — some of them are. Those are some of the things that I would like to take back. It was really f-cked up. But I paid for those mistakes, and there’s no way in hell that I will ever make another mistake like that again.”

It appears that he knows what he did, but it also appears that if he doesn’t speak of them, then they don’t exist. He obviously wants to keep his wrongful ways private and in the past, but did he ever once think, “man I owe Michel’le the world for doing the terrible things I did to her?”

NOPE, instead he is readying to sue Lifetime and Sony after the movie “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le,” airs this Saturday on Lifetime.

“Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le,” stars Rhyon Nicole Brown as singer Michel’le, which is the telling of the singer’s story about her relationship with Dr Dre, which included physical abuse at the hands of the producer. It’s a story that Michel’le says was left out of the 2015 hit movie, “Straight Outta Compton.” But while the film depicts Dr. Dre as an abuser

Dr Dre is NOT the only one against the movie. Suge Knight’s Lawyers Send Warnings To Lifetime Ahead Of Ex’s Biopic:

“I stayed because it was normal. After the first hit, you don’t think they’re going to do it again. I didn’t call the police because I didn’t want him to go to jail. All the men around me were always going to jail and be gone for years and I didn’t think that was a good idea.”

Trailers and an early screening of the film show Dr Dre’s character as extremely violent — attacking Michel’le as she records a song and even punching her in the stomach in front of a group of people.

The film also stars Curtis Hamilton as Dr. Dre, Jamie Kennedy as Jerry Heller and R. Marcos Taylor as Suge Knight, who is reprising his role from “Straight Outta Compton.” “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le” airs Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.

We are sorry to say these men have something to hide. They lived this life, they did these things, did they think that people were NEVER going to talk? Its so many years later, Suge and Dre just need to let this play out. Leave it alone and the movie will be forgotten by 2017. Or him an haw, and your dirt will be EXPOSED for all. The media is a beast these days. It’s NOT the 90s anymore where you can hide all the behind the scene antics.

Thoughts?
