Thanks to Did James Wright, Patti LaBelle’s slow selling Sweet Potatoe Pies are now a box office hit like Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Wal-Mart has reported that after James video surfaced on Youtube Patti LaBelle’s slow selling Sweet Potato Pies started moving rapidly and the stores were selling 1 pie per second. They also reported that Patti LaBelle’s Sweet Potatoe Pies were the most searched item on their website and now Patti LaBelle says the frenzy over the delicious dessert is all her doing.
Wait, What?
Um, Patti, no one would have known that your pies even existed until James Wright put the pies on the map. Yes we understand that the pies are your recipe, but James is the man who made you a hit.
Patti LaBelle NEEDS to put James on her payroll or give his some type of royalties or a lifetime supply of pies.

It’s a little frustrating that Patti could own up to James helping her retail sales. Shameful Patti, just shameful, because you pies are listed on eBay for 40 bucks and on Craigslist for $100.
