The graffiti saga continues as Chris Brown now refuses to pay fines for his Los Angeles home’s “artwork.” After his neighbors have continued to complain about his spray-painted mural (graffiti mural) on his cement wall by his driveway for all to see.

Chris has been asked by the city of Los Angeles to remove the graffiti or pay some major loot.

Instead, Rihanna’s ex is fight back by filing an appeal. Claiming that the graffiti “[enhances] the architectural and aesthetic features of the residential property.

Personally we disagree, and that the art should be displayed inside his property, like that backyard. But if he is going to have it on the front of his home then make the whole house a mural and not just four individual monsters that looke like someone came by and tagged his home. If the whole house is done in an artistic way there is noway the neighbors can complain…it looks incomplete at this point.

Chris’ legal documents state that the infringement goes so far as breaking his First Amendment rights:

“The murals are a reflection of [my] aesthetic taste and a reflection of free speech and expression protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.”

Damn! Chris is using some strong references to stand his ground.

The case, currently being dealt with by the Dept. of Building and Safety’s board of appeals, but the case could be brought to LA County Superior Court if not taken care of quickly!
