CBS Cancels Rush Hour After 4 Episodes

CelebNMusic247.com has just got word that the new comedy series Rush Hour has just been axed by CBS after only 4 episodes on Thursday night.

If you saw it, the show was an adaptation of the hit Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker movie from 1998 and it starred newcomers Justin Hires and Jon Foo. It just didn’t have that punch Chan and Tucker delivered.

Meanwhile, CBS has decided to keep four other series on the network for another season. They are moving forward with additional seasons of some of its other new shows like the Marcia Gay Harden medical drama Code Black and the mystery series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon‘s remake of The Odd Couple has been renewed for a third season while reality show Undercover Boss is getting an eighth season.

The only other show we are waiting to hear about is Limitless.

Have you been watching any of the shows above?

We are fans of The Odd Couple and Code Black. We only saw a few episodes of Limitless, and we have to say it’s cool, but the movie was better.

The series filmed 13 episodes, so we are unsure if the network will air the remaining 4 episodes for fans, so they can watch the who season. If not, maybe CBS will let fans purchase the remaining digitally on iTunes.

How about you, were you watching the Rush Hour adaptation on CBS? What did you think about the series? Yay or Nay?
