This year Bruce Cohn has another amazing lineup of rock music from the golden age of rock when rock was rock! The two day event charity has become a staple of the Sonoma Wine Country and for all you rock fans who still love 70s rock then this event is for you!
Who is B.R. Cohen?
Bruce Cohn (B.R. Cohen) began the Charity Fall Music Festival at B.R. Cohn Winery as a way of giving back to the community that he calls home. Almost always on the road as manager of The Doobie Brothers, Bruce began to feel like an “absentee” citizen of the Sonoma and San Francisco counties that he so loves and looked for a way to contribute during the short periods of time that he returned to the area. The festival began in 1987 and has presented outstanding names in music every year, including Lynard Skynard, Michael McDonald and Journey. The list of beneficiaries is just about as long as the list of artists who have performed at the gala event, which also features a charity auction dinner and a celebrity golf tournament. The popular and lively charity auction and dinner will be held at the B.R. Cohn Winery’s 140-year old Olive Grove. Preparing the five-course meal will be James Beard nominee, and award winning Chef Mark Stark. Acoustic musical performance by Pablo Cruise, with three of the original members.
The fun-filled evening also includes the annual fundraising auction where trips, private dinners, one-of-kind big format wines and autographed guitars are auctioned away for charity.
