One of 2017’s most anticipated blockbusters is Alien: Covenant, the sequel to Ridley Scott‘s Prometheus and prequel to Ridley Scott’s Alien.
The Alien franchise has been one of those franchises that fans can’t get enough of, except for David Fincher‘s terribly flawed Alien 3. It’s like a stepchild no one want to acknowledge, but its the film that RUINED the franchise. Since Alien 3, the franchise has suffered, trying to reboot it’s initial foundation.
Alien Resurrection tried to redeem the franchise, but it was Ridley Scott’s Prometheus that breathed new life into the Sci-Fi horror franchise. Now, everyone is anticipating a great Alien sequel, since the Alien vs Predator films became more of a body count style film.
Scott has been leaking photos from the highly anticipated Alien: Covenant, and by the looks of it, things are looking promising.
This week we have another look into the forthcoming prequel/sequel. AC will be led by Katherine Waterston‘s Daniels, a Ripley type character. Thanks to EW, we have a brand new image of Waterston in the film proper. In the posted, Daniels looking ready to blast away man, woman, or xenomorph. She is holding a flam blower like Ripley did in the OG Alien.

Fox released another movie still from the Prometheus prequel, this time with a new cryptic number clue reading 130112062104.
Yesterday Fox released a similar code with another still and members here managed to decipher that the numbers likely were a clue to when the teaser trailer would arrive.
The countdown yesterday would have equaled 61 hours, the new count today equals 36 hours. If true, this means Fox will likely be releasing the trailer tomorrow night! – ACN
